Ascoril is an expectorant medication that contains Levosalbutamol, Ambroxol, and Guaifenesin as its active ingredients, working together to help alleviate symptoms associated with cough and congestion. Usage Instructions: To use Ascoril, follow the recommended dosage based on age: Adults and children over 12 years: Take 10 mL (2 teaspoons) three times a day. Children from 6 to 12 years: Take 5 mL (1 teaspoon) three times a day. Children from 2 to 5 years: Take 2.5 mL (1/2 teaspoon) three times a day. Note: Ascoril is not recommended for children below 2 years of age. Precautions: It is important to be aware of the following precautions when using Ascoril: Hypersensitivity: Avoid using Ascoril if you have a known allergy to expectorants or if you have a history of hypersensitivity to Ambroxol, Guaifenesin, or Levosalbutamol. Kidney Diseases: If you have a history of kidney problems, use Ascoril with caution. Dose adjustment and close monitoring of kidney function may be necessary. Liver Diseases: Ascoril may have adverse effects on individuals with liver-related disorders. Use it with caution and under close monitoring of liver function parameters. Pregnancy: Ascoril may have adverse effects on the fetus. It is recommended to avoid using this medicine during pregnancy unless the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Consult your doctor for guidance. Breastfeeding: Although there is no evidence of Ascoril secretion into breast milk, it is advisable to consult a doctor if you are breastfeeding.
